Washington, D.C. — Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer isn’t buying the slow pace of tonight’s vote-a-rama. Speaking to reporters, Schumer said the delay is no accident—it’s a cover for chaos behind the scenes.
“They don’t have a bill; they’re delaying,” he said bluntly.
Schumer went further, accusing Republicans of scrambling to patch together promises they can’t keep:
“They’re cutting a lot of backroom deals. They got a lot of members who were promised things that they may not be able to deliver on. And so they’re just stalling.”
As the GOP struggles to finalize Trump’s massive domestic agenda bill, Schumer’s message is clear: this isn’t governing… it’s improvising.
