Hey Israel and Iran, Is There a Ceasefire or Nah?
Well, here we go again. Another chaotic Trump announcement that doesn’t line up with, you know… sigh
Earlier today, Donald Trump took to the airwaves to declare that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was in place and would begin “within hours.” The only problem? Iran says they didn’t agree to anything. In fact, officials in Tehran flat-out refused to confirm any such ceasefire when pressed by international reporters.
According to a Sky News report, Israeli sources also seem caught off guard, with no formal agreement publicly acknowledged by either side. The Trump administration appears to be trying to will a ceasefire into existence through sheer bravado—or distraction.
This is the second time in 72 hours that the FAFO Newscast has had to step in and clarify things the White House and legacy media are fumbling to cover accurately. We reported last Saturday that Iran had already evacuated the nuclear sites targeted in the recent U.S. bombing. Mainstream outlets finally caught up yesterday. And now we’re here again, sorting out truth from political theater.
Here’s the tea: a real ceasefire requires both parties to agree—not just the President of the United States doing his best impression of a WWE ring announcer.
Right now, Tehran is denying that a ceasefire is in place. Israel, as of publication, hasn’t confirmed anything either. And Trump? He’s out here announcing deals that may only exist in his Truth Social drafts.
So we ask again:
Is there a ceasefire or nah?
We’ll keep you posted. But for now, this looks like another case of Trump doing Trump things…
