Donald Trump is nothing if not predictable. When powerful Black women hold him accountable, he doesn’t just lash out—he retaliates. And now, with the federal government in his grip again, he’s escalating those attacks.
The latest? A criminal referral against New York Attorney General Letitia James for alleged mortgage fraud, conveniently timed just after she secured a historic $464 million civil fraud judgment against Trump and his crooked empire. Come on now… This is not justice. This is political revenge served cold, cowardly, and corrupt.
Letitia James has become one of the most effective threats to Trump’s web of lies. She’s not afraid of him. She’s not intimidated by his money or his mouth. And that terrifies him. So much so, that the Trump controlled Federal Housing Finance Agency is now dragging her name through the mud with weak-ass allegations about a primary residence and unit count on a loan application.
Let’s keep it a buck: this isn’t about paperwork. This is about power. Tantrum Trump is afraid of Letitia James because she’s brilliant, unbothered, and unbought. She did what no one else had the political courage to do—she hit his wallet and exposed his fraud. And now, like the petty, paranoid tyrant he is, he’s weaponizing federal agencies to try and discredit her.
But Letitia James isn’t going anywhere. She made that crystal clear yesterday in a powerful statement that doubled as a warning shot to every would-be authoritarian.
