On Wednesday, during an interview with conservative radio host Vince Coglianese, Donald Trump was asked about Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and her recent fiery exchanges in Congress. Never one to miss an opportunity for a racist dig, Trump responded:
“But she’s a lowlife, and she’s a very low-IQ person. I don’t imagine the Democrats are going to have a person like that running their party.”
For anyone paying attention, this insult is nothing new—Trump has a long history of using “Low IQ” as a dog whistle, and almost every time, it’s directed at Black women.
Trump’s Favorite Racist Dog Whistle
Calling Black people—especially Black women—“low IQ” or “stupid” is a calculated tactic. It plays into old racist stereotypes designed to discredit Black intelligence and leadership. And Trump, a man whose entire political brand is built on white grievance, knows exactly what he’s doing.

This isn’t just a one-time insult. He’s used the same attack against:
Rep. Maxine Waters – When she called for his impeachment, Trump repeatedly labeled her “Low IQ.”
Stacey Abrams – He mocked her intelligence when she ran for governor of Georgia.
Vice President Kamala Harris – He’s implied multiple times that she’s not smart enough for the job.
Letitia James & Fani Willis – The two Black prosecutors leading major cases against him have been ridiculed as “stupid” and “unqualified.”
When white men criticize Trump, he calls them “weak” or “pathetic.” When white women oppose him, he calls them “nasty.” But when Black women stand up to him? He goes straight to “Low IQ.” That’s not a coincidence—it’s misogynoir in action.
Why He’s Coming for Jasmine Crockett
Rep. Jasmine Crockett is not the one to play with. She has quickly made a name for herself as one of the boldest voices in Congress, particularly when it comes to exposing GOP hypocrisy.
Just last week, she destroyed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene during a House hearing, reminding her that she doesn’t get to speak on “decorum” after harassing her colleagues and spreading conspiracy theories. That exchange went viral—and clearly, it got under Trump’s skin.
But Trump’s problem with Crockett isn’t just about politics—it’s about power. He cannot handle smart, confident Black women who aren’t afraid to challenge him, so he reverts to racism to try and silence us.
The Bigger Picture: Misogynoir in Politics
This isn’t just about Crockett—it’s about a larger pattern of how America treats Black women in leadership.
Black women are the backbone of democracy – We are the most reliable voting bloc for progressive change.
We face harsher scrutiny than any other group – Whether it’s Kamala Harris, Ketanji Brown Jackson, or Michelle Obama, Black women in power always face racist and sexist attacks.
Trump’s base eats this up – He doesn’t just throw these insults randomly—he does it because he knows his base loves seeing Black women disrespected.
But here’s the thing: Black women don’t back down.
Maxine Waters kept pushing for Trump’s impeachment.
Stacey Abrams flipped Georgia blue.
Kamala Harris was the sitting Vice President of the United States.
Letitia James and Fani Willis are still holding Trump accountable in court.
And Jasmine Crockett isn’t going anywhere.
Final Thoughts
Donald Trump calling another Black woman “Low IQ” isn’t surprising, but it is telling. He is scared—scared of losing, scared of accountability, and scared of powerful Black women who won’t bow to him.
But history has already proven one thing: when Black women are under attack, we fight back—and WE win.
What do y’all think? Why does Trump only use this insult against Black women? Let’s talk about it.
Every morning I search her name and AOC to see what kind of “Good Trouble” they are getting into.
Trump has nerve when he’s the dumbest we ever had
