A deeply disturbing video is going viral on TikTok, and we need to go on record immediately.
A Chinese man — identified only as Jinshan — is seen being forcefully taken by masked agents, believed to be from ICE, in broad daylight in downtown Los Angeles. The person who filmed the video says this happened yesterday.
Jinshan is screaming in Mandarin, over and over:
“救命！救命！我要活命！”
“Help me! Help me! Save my life! Save my life!”
There was no warrant, no explanation, and no Miranda rights read. He was simply grabbed, shoved into a vehicle, and disappeared. This is a public emergency. This is not due process. This is state-sponsored terror.

❗ Let’s Be Absolutely Clear:
This is not what immigration enforcement should look like in a democracy.
This is degrading, inhumane, and potentially illegal.
This is what authoritarianism looks like: secret arrests, no legal process, and militarized agents in American streets.
Jinshan did not deserve this. No one does.

🛑 ICE Has a History of Violating Rights
Southern California is federally barred from warrantless ICE detainers due to the landmark Gonzalez v. ICE decision. If Jinshan was taken without a signed judicial warrant — and all evidence points to that — this was unlawful.
In recent years, ICE has increasingly operated like a rogue militia:
Disguised agents
Unmarked vehicles
No transparency
No judicial review
This tactic is meant to terrorize communities, especially immigrants of color — to silence them into submission.
